I recently got into an accident where I totaled my vehicle. My insurance payed for what the vehicle is only worth but there is still some money I owe to the bank (lean holder) which GAP insurance covers. But will they still cover it, if I get a DUI? My regular auto insurance did.

I am buying a new car, and am wondering where I can purchase GAP insurance other than the dealership. Not an auto policy where they include it in your policy, but a separate GAP insurance. Thanks!
